List of SEC-registered online lending apps in the Philippines

There are over a hundred online lending apps recorded with the SEC, operated by registered lending and financing companies. The tricky part for most borrowers is that the app name you see on Google Play is usually different from the registered company name, so it is hard to tell from the SEC's own list whether the specific app you are about to use is covered.

LegitLend PH exists to close that gap. We match each app to the company that operates it and show the SEC registration number and status, so you can check the exact app you have in front of you.

Why the app name and company name differ

The SEC records companies, but you download apps. One company can run several apps. For example, one registered company may operate three or four differently-branded lending apps. When you search the SEC list for the app name, you may find nothing, not because the app is illegal, but because it is recorded under the parent company's name.

How to use this list

Search the name of the app you are checking. If it is operated by a registered company and recorded as an online lending platform, you will see a green “registered” result with the company name and SEC registration number. If it appears on an SEC advisory, you will see a warning. If we have no record of it, we will tell you to verify directly with the SEC rather than assume it is safe.

Browse all registered apps, or search a specific app to check it now. Always cross-check on the official SEC list before borrowing, since statuses can change and new advisories are issued regularly.

Being registered is not the whole story

Registration means the lender is operating legally. It does not mean every loan is a good deal, or that the interest and fees are low. Use our loan cost tool to see the real amount you would repay, fees included, before you commit.

Always cross-check on the official SEC list

Statuses change and new advisories are issued regularly. LegitLend PH is an independent information resource — we are not a lender, not affiliated with the SEC, and we do not process loan applications.
